WHY ROBERTS?
"I chose to work at Roberts because I wanted to get back into higher education, specifically at an institution that integrates faith, athletics, and education to transform the student-athlete experience. I believe in the power of a holistic approach to student development, where athletes can grow not only in their sport but also in their character and faith, preparing them for life beyond the game."
MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCE
"There's nothing more rewarding than witnessing their growth, supporting them through challenges, and celebrating their successes. Being part of their journey as they reach new heights is truly fulfilling."
PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT
Femi takes pride in her committee service and community engagement, particularly in supporting the Pirate Toy Fund and their season of toy drives. She was also part of a historic achievement when, in January, Roberts made NCAA history as the first three-time winner of the DII Excellence Award.
FAVORITE SCRIPTURE
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." - Jeremiah 1:5
"Jeremiah 1:5 is my favorite verse because it profoundly reveals that my purpose transcends my understanding. Before I was conceived, God knew me intimately and set me apart for a divine calling. This verse affirms that my life is not a random occurrence, but a part of a greater, God-ordained plan—empowering me to walk in purpose confidently, knowing that I am destined for something much larger than myself."
ADVICE FOR NEW STAFF
"Now and then, step outside your immediate area and build cross-campus relationships. Engaging with colleagues from different departments will offer valuable insights and expose you to diverse experiences and perspectives, enriching your understanding and growth within Roberts."

INSIGHTS FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS
Femi continues to provide wisdom, leadership, strength, focus, and vision in her role in Redhawks Athletics and as a leader across the Roberts Wesleyan University campus. These are the attributes of a Redhawk, and Femi has embraced them with passion and enthusiasm since her first day on campus. We are blessed to have her at Roberts for such a time as this.
