Endowment

Build something that lasts

An endowment is a permanent fund that’s invested to support Roberts for the long run. The original gift isn’t spent. Instead, it earns income each year that helps students, faculty, and programs thrive.

When you give to the endowment, you’re building stability. You’re helping Roberts stay strong and mission-driven for generations to come.

To begin, start by downloading the Planned Giving Form. Then, email the completed form to our Director of Advancement Services at  distaffen_marna@roberts.edu.

Types of Endowment

Endowed Chairs

Your gift can help recruit and support professors who lead with both expertise and faith.

Example of an Endowed Chair: the Charles S. Gallaher Nursing Chair

Created by Charles S. Gallaher, this endowment strengthens the Department of Nursing. Each year, it funds a faculty position and special projects for the department.

The Gallaher Chair ensures that Roberts continues to prepare nurses who combine excellence in their craft with a heart for service.

In order to fund an endowed chair, we require a minimum of $1,000,000, payable over up to 5 years.

Endowed Scholarships

Your gift creates a scholarship that lasts forever, helping new students each year.

Example of an Endowed Scholarship: The B.A. Bailey Educator Scholarship for Teacher Education students.

Established by Barbara Bailey, this scholarship supports students pursuing a career in education. It helps those who demonstrate compassion, academic promise, and a commitment to leading the next generation of students.

In order to start your own endowed scholarship, we require a minimum of $25,000, payable over up to 5 years.
