Profile

Maggie Hubbard, a painter based in New York, is known for depicting familial and collective artifacts. Hubbard’s work reconsiders a poetic space where objects, history, and meaning converge. She received her MFA in Studio Art from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has exhibited across the States. While continuing in a steady studio practice, Hubbard works in the home remodeling business, teaches painting, and assists in museum installations at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY.
