Kathleen Raniewicz

Career Success Coach

Profile

Kathleen D. Raniewicz is a Career Success Coach in the Office of Career Development at Roberts Wesleyan University. She joined the Roberts community in 2011, bringing over 25 years of expertise in career development, employer engagement, educator training, and workforce readiness programming.

A relational, student-centered approach marks Kathleen’s coaching style. She believes internships, leadership experiences, community service, and employment are essential to a student’s development and professional preparation. Kathleen is passionate about helping students build confidence, encouraging them to invest in themselves through experiential learning, and find clarity of purpose as they prepare for life after Roberts.

Her background includes leadership roles in educational services at the Rochester Business Alliance (formerly the Industrial Management Council) and Monroe #1 BOCES. These roles reflect her deep commitment to education, experiential learning, and creating impactful partnerships between students, employers, and educators.

Outside of Roberts, Kathleen is a North Chili resident, where she lives with her husband, Andrew. They are the proud parents of twin daughters, Alexis and Alyssa, who are now successfully pursuing their own careers. While the girls have flown the nest, a strong, close-knit family connection remains; family and friends are Kathleen's highest priority! She is an active member of St. Christopher Church, where she sings soprano in the contemporary choir and volunteers for fundraising and community-building events. In her downtime, Kathleen enjoys puzzling, games, and movies. She is also an avid Buffalo Bills fan, though her loyalty is sometimes split since she was raised in a NY Giants household. Go Bills!
