Jaclyn Renee Warren (b. 1999) is a composer and flutist from Rochester, NY. She started composing at 16, and by 20, her works had been performed on three continents and commissioned by both students and professional orchestras. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Flute Performance at Roberts Wesleyan University, studying under Diane Smith, while taking composition lessons from media composer Seth Wright. She earned her Master’s Degree in Composition and Certificate of University Teaching at Syracuse University, studying composition under Nicolas Scherzinger and flute under Dana DiGennaro. Her works have been performed at festivals around the world, on classical and jazz radio, and she has been a guest speaker at universities and festivals throughout North America.

As a flutist, Jaclyn is passionate about performing works of living composers and commissioning new pieces for the flute. She enjoys putting together programs that will teach the audience about the extensive capabilities of the instrument and that will create conversations between herself and the audience.
