Eric Ludwig

Counselor for Graduate, Professional, and Seminary Students; Designated School Official (DSO) for International Students

Profile

Eric Ludwig brings a spirit of service, innovation, and faith-driven purpose to his role in the Office of the Registrar. As Counselor for Graduate, Professional, and Seminary Students and Designated School Official (DSO) for International Students, Eric helps ensure that every student’s academic journey, from matriculation to graduation, runs as smoothly as possible.

Before joining Roberts, Eric served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineer and later as a Surface Warfare Officer, completing three deployments. His background in engineering and military leadership sharpened his problem-solving skills and his passion for process improvement, qualities he now applies to advancing the University’s systems and supporting student success.

Drawn to Roberts by his wife’s positive experience as a staff member, Eric quickly came to appreciate the community’s warmth and shared mission. Guided by Roberts’ commitment to developing thoughtful, spiritually mature, and service-oriented graduates, he approaches each student interaction as an opportunity to reinforce those values and extend their impact beyond campus.

Eric finds energy in leveraging new technologies and data to meet student needs, strengthen collaboration across departments, and keep the University thriving in a rapidly changing higher education landscape.
