Dr. Aaron Wilkinson

University Registrar; Chief Academic Administrator

My faith shapes the leadership philosophy that I engage in my work. I highly value the servant leadership style and attempt to embody that in all that I undertake at the University, with the intent of living in right relationship with others. Hopefully, this helps others achieve their own personal goals and aspirations that align with their faith journey.

Dr. Aaron Wilkinson

Profile

Dr. Aaron Wilkinson came to Roberts Wesleyan University after a season of prayer and reflection, seeking a place where his personal beliefs could align with his professional calling. Guided by his faith, Dr. Wilkinson embraces a servant-leadership philosophy.

He found at Roberts a community that lives out the values he hoped to embody in his own leadership. He often says his favorite days on campus are Move-In Day and Commencement - the bookends of a student’s educational experience, filled with anticipation, growth, and celebration.

As Registrar, Dr. Wilkinson leads a team that plays a steady, behind-the-scenes role in every student’s academic journey. The Registration office provides consistency and support semester after semester, ensuring that students can focus on learning while being guided smoothly toward graduation.

He draws inspiration from The Coddling of the American Mind, a reminder that people are whole, complex, and worthy of being seen and treated with dignity. He connects this perspective to Christ’s love for humanity - a principle that shapes his approach to leadership and service at Roberts.

When not at work, Dr. Wilkinson enjoys playing guitar, gaming with friends, and spending time in the community. He says, "In place of a fun fact, I offer two truths and a lie: 1) I beat a National Champion when I wrestled in college, 2) I was chased by a rabid skunk, and 3) my wife and I were high school sweethearts that got married after 8 years of knowing one another. You'll have to find me to ask for the answer!"

Above all, what excites him most about his role is the opportunity to positively impact students’ lives and the future of the University. He shares this advice with students: "Cultivate an acute attentiveness to the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and allow this indwelling to lead you where God has called you to be. You will find no greater fulfillment than when you are walking the path set before you by the Lord, which you can only truly find in the silence of His presence."
