Krista Hodgins-Levey

Profile

Since joining Roberts Wesleyan University in 2018, Krista Hodgins-Levey has brought a wealth of nursing experience to the classroom. With a background in orthopedic, emergency, and urgent care nursing, she also brings knowledge from community health, internal medicine, and endocrinology. Her current certifications include national credentials through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. At Roberts, she is actively involved in the Academic Guidance and Support Committee and serves as a faculty advisor for Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing – Tau Xi Chapter.

Outside of teaching, she finds joy in boating, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her pets. Her favorite Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11, reflects the hope and purpose she instills in her students: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord…plans to give you a hope and a future.” As she puts it, "It is both an honor and a privilege to help them prepare for a future career in nursing."

She is very understanding and always looking to give grace.
