Profile

Dr. Anna Beaudry grew up in Western NY before attending Mercyhurst University, where she ran cross country and completed a double major in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science. She then pursued her Ph.D. in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at Baylor University. Her dissertation research was conducted in the Law Laboratory, which focuses on identifying the physiological and molecular mechanisms of cardiac dysfunction in cancer cachexia, aiming to improve treatment strategies and enhance the quality of life for cancer patients.

Dr. Beaudry is a Certified Exercise Physiologist and a professional member of both the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She has worked with various clinical populations, including those with cardiac, pulmonary, and neurologic disorders. Her peer-reviewed publications span the fields of cancer cachexia, sports medicine, nutrition, and orthopedics. Outside of academia, Anna is happily married to her husband, Mason, and enjoys spending time outdoors, with family, and actively participating in her church community.
