This course introduces students to professional nursing and health-care concepts to prepare for the whole person care of individuals, groups and communities.

Students will learn organizing principles and concepts that are building blocks for nursing practice as a caring, service oriented. A focus on professional communication, health care delivery systems, and the numerous roles of professional nurses. 

Pre-requisites: BIOL 2010, 2020, 3010, CHEM 1140, NRSG 2200, PSYC 2010.
