Teacher Education at Roberts Wesleyan University invites educators, students, alumni, and community members to submit proposals for our first AI Literacy Day.
This event is part of National AI Literacy Day, a nationwide day of action dedicated to exploring two essential questions: “What is AI?” and “How do we prepare learners for an AI-enabled world?”

We are seeking engaging, 50-minute sessions that help participants deepen their understanding of AI, critically evaluate its implications, and explore practical ways to use AI responsibly in learning environments.
Topics might include:
Understanding AI: what it is (and isn’t) and its implications for teaching and learning
Using AI responsibly: ethics, academic integrity, policy, and privacy considerations
Developing AI literacy and integrating AI into curriculum, instruction, and assessments
Enhancing learning with AI: creativity, collaboration, communication, and preparing students for the future
Exploring broader impacts: bias, equity, access, and ethical or faith-based perspectives
