Before Classes Begin

for graduate / accelerated students

As you get ready to begin, we want to make sure you feel confident and supported. At Roberts, your journey is built around customized pathways, a community that cares, and preparation to lead with purpose.

Here are the final steps to take before your first class. Let’s get you ready to go.

Register for Classes

Master’s and Doctoral Students:
You can register for classes directly in the student portal once registration opens.

Associate and Bachelor’s Students:
You’ll meet with your academic advisor to register for your first semester. They’ll walk you through the process and help plan your schedule.

Set Up Your RWU Intranet Account

The RWU Intranet is the launch page for student resources, like course content and grades. 

About 6 weeks before classes start, you’ll receive an email from inhousecode@roberts.edu with setup  instructions. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.

 In that same email, you’ll receive instructions on how to complete your New Student Technology Orientation.

Complete Your Health Requirements in the Student Health Portal

New York State requires proof of vaccination for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Meningococcal Meningitis for in-person students.

If your program requires in-person classes or a residency, submit the Health - Required Immunizations form and upload your documents through the Student Health Portal.

Log in with your Roberts email via the Microsoft login window. Access is available 48 hours after depositing.

Graduate students can register directly in the student portal once registration opens.

If you’re in an associate or bachelor’s program, your advisor will contact you to schedule your first advisement meeting and help you register.

Visit rwc.roberts.edu and log in using your Roberts email and password.

You’ll get your login setup email from inhousecode@roberts.edu about six weeks before your program begins.

Check your spam folder.

If it’s not there, contact your admissions counselor or email admissions@roberts.edu.

It’s a short, required walkthrough of your digital tools at Roberts - including how to access your courses, check grades, and connect with campus resources.

Yes, if your program includes in-person components. Upload documentation through the Student Health Portal using your Roberts email. You’ll get access 48 hours after submitting your enrollment deposit.

Roberts uses Slingshot, an automatic course materials delivery service. Once you’re registered, your materials will be shipped or made available digitally.
